Beckham, Rihanna and Lady Gaga, Involve in Film Production African Humanitarian

To be able to raise funds humanitarian, David Beckham, Lady Gaga and Rihanna joined promote humanitarian-themed short films on their social networking sites. The film is part of a campaign with the headline 'I'm Gonna be Your Friend' which aims to raise funds under the agency Save the Children. Estimates of this organization, there are 10 million hungry people in East Africa, including more than 1 million children from Somalia.


The short film is dedicated to increasing awareness of citizens of the world on the famine in East Africa. Noted, for the case of famine in this century the number one experienced by Somalia.

Simon Fuller and Chris Blackwell had contacted the Hollywood big names to come calling for this issue. The Bob Marley Estate also accede to it in support of this campaign. Athletes such as Andy Murray and Muhammad Ali also expressed their support.

In the short film was played songs from Bob Marley & The Wailers, 'High Tide or Low Tide'. The film itself was directed by Kevin Macdonald that previous success with 'The Last King of Scotland'.
